    I always thought FF9 was a flop compared to 7 and 8.

    No one can really say any game is a 'failed' game, opinions, responses, reviews and sales will differ all over the world. Just 'cos it's not so good in one country doesn't mean it's the same in another. Last I heard FFX-2 did fantastic in Japan but not so good in US and EU.

    Just depends on the generalised market of the country, y'know?
