they usually launch games before x-mas, not after. my guess will be next year sept of nov.

I've bought a PS3 for FFXIV, and ofc I bought Deus Ex today as well^^ And a snap-on keyboard for my ps controller. Now I am playing the waiting game until I can swap from playing on PC to the PS3.

I think I did this for nostalgic feelings when looking back to when I played FF7-10 on Playstation as well^^

yeah but ff7 to ff10 was offline rpg
ffxi in ps2 was bad idea, the reason never upgrade graphics and cant receive more expansion packs for ps2 limitation

Cause its not out yet? (j/k) What makes you think it will kill it in the future? (not judging you answer just want to know if it's different from the OPs point of view). I think what could kill xiv more than the ps3 is it's level of addictiveness (or lack thereof), if players can't get into it, it will sink. I like to think that theres a "hard core" gamer in all casual gamers, they just need an excuse.

You realize that ff11 was played by more ppl on ps2 and xbox right? and was awesome .ps3 is a powerful machine.once they tweak game it will be just as awesome.

And yeah but they'll be tweaking it DOWN, not up. The PS3 IS powerfull, but PCs will always be the most powerfull.

Don't waste your time on these PC fanboys. They are deluded and don't know what they are talking about. They bash PS3 every chance they get saying it is dead, far far from it. The PS3 has far more exclusive games than any other console and most of them are excellent. I guess they have never played Uncharted. I just think it's funny that they think they have some sort of special rights to a console franchise. FF XIV was always planned for PS3 from the start.
