I mean, if you want to take that view you can apply it to anything in the game.

So just doing 10 dungeons and after that the daily roulette which most people did/do anyway is bad and torturing? The only thing about I agree on is annoying ist the part with the crystals but it's still not as bad as the atma step was.

It is normal game playing if you take a month time to finish it.

Doing the stuff you do anyway is "torturing"? You have a funny definition of torture. I mean, the only thing I went out of my way to do with the relics was beast tribe dailies (I hadn't touched them in a dog's age till the relic quest) but those take all of half an hour unless you get unlucky and need a bunch of FATE ones. The rest of what I did was roulettes (I do that anyway to cap Eso), hunts, and the odd bit of Alexander Normal. Seriously, why do you play this game if you don't like... well, playing it?

If you do every day ALL, then there is no problem. In fact most players can not do ALL every day and in SUM it delays until post patch where it already gets obsolete... the worst is it continues to the point where you are farming for your first zeta while the whole server already having 4.0 finished (you fall behind, it end up being glamor only weapon)... There is a reason why SE is helping with making old progression "faster" but still to make it worth you are forced to do ALL every day... That force is what makes it feel like a torture!
