We really need this mentor system. Nothing saddens me, but to see a bard in ramuh hm that does nothing but wide volley and quick nock with zero dots, or in dungeons you try to teach something only being kicked or replied back by "i play however i want".
If person doesnt know how to use dots as bard on lv50, i can only imagine how painful it was to those who ran dungeons with that bard at start...

Not everyone is meant to be mentor, so if you cant meet the requirements, do something about it, but be aware that being fate zombie wont help you gain knowledge about the job, nor make you a good mentor. Requirements are fine, those who meet them legit hopefully know their stuff. I on other hand cant wait to mentor in dungeons, especially bards. Current lv60 bards are nothing but jokes either spamming wide volley on everything or single targeting in big pulls.

There are lots of people that dont meet erquirements that are far better Mentors then someone that has a zillion comm and still doesnt have a clue (believe me it exists). Please STOP making an amalgame between hving the requirements to be a Mentor and being actually CAPABLE of mentoring.

Now you're just wishing. She only sees exactly what she wants in posts. I think everyone has said they know it is not a 100% perfect system for getting great mentors, but that it is a measureable method for at least upping the odds, yet she has ranted the same point at all of them.

Every single aspect of life has to have a way to be quantified. The Mentoring system is no different. Graduating college doesn't necessarily mean you'll make a good astrophysicist. Dropping out of high school doesn't necessarily mean you aren't mentally intelligent enough to be a heart surgeon. But there are things called "standards" that us adults have to abide by. Standards are quantifiable aspects of life...they are numbers we are expected to achieve in order to gauge our aptitude in the eyes of our superiors. It's just life, and you have to accept it for what it is. You may be the biggest braniac in the world, but if you couldn't get yourself through high school and college, the people would have every right to question your resolve.
