What about giant summons as an option for solo game, but short summons during dungeons ?

Why would SE waste time making extra egi skins specifically for when you're solo though?

Makes no sense from a developmental efficiency standpoint.

I don't find them "ugly", and they have a lot of details, which is a good thing in my opinion

Detail for the sake of detail isn't a good thing. I think those are kinda ugly too, not to mention too damn big.
