Square Enix told us FFXIII wouldn't have a sequel. Lol.
Every time Square says "We won't do this", you have to take that with a grain of salt.
Remember FFVII remake ? "we won't remake FFVII until ten years" yeah sure.
"We won't do a next Dissidia at the moment"
"We won't do a new Theathrythm"
"FFXV won't have moogles because of the lore"

I don't remember where I saw that, but if you want I have an interview of Wada from 2012, he says that Square won't do a remake of FFVII, except if a FF game will surpass it (which of course will never happen), and that if they did a remake now, Square will die. The interview is in French.
