I see the BLM thing a lot, but traditionally, BLM has only had ice, fire, and bolt.

As for the rest, a lot of that wouldnt work in a mmo, theres balancing that needs to take place that prevents a lot of interesting or different things.

Black Magic included Water and Aero in IX, X, XI, XII. Except I'm pretty sure there wasn't an air based spell in IX and X. I think IV had Tornado. And I think Stone was called Quake in some past games, and I know XI had Stone. But like I said, I'd understand if that was never implemented because it is a lot of work.
