Anyone willing to drop some advice my way regarding final anima stage?

So I am on the 3rd stage to get my anima relic for my BLM and I don't mind the alexander grind all that much (though it is quite a lot. XD) but the crafting items are killing me!

I haven't had much interest in crafting and I don't make a whole lot of gil with my current gameplay style. I like to think I am somewhere in between hard core and casual with my play time. I can spend whole days playing on my days off and a few hours on some work days, but since I work at a hotel, my schedule is all over the place so I don't have a consistent amount of time to dedicate to this grind.

Basically, what I am getting at here, is, how the heck am I gonna get those crafting items? XD I don't have a lot of time to farm gil while I am running those alex runs and I don't want to spend the equivalent amount of time spent in Alex on farming gil either. (Though if I have to I have to. XD)

Anyone have some tips on making enough gil to get these items for anima in a fairly efficient manner? (That does not include crafting my own.)

Well, with the crafted items there's nothing you can do except make them yourself or buy them. Or ask a friend to make them. So... it just depends which is most feasible for you. How much are they on your server?

Personally I didn't really do any Alex (just got one item via Alex I think), and I just completed my anima last night. All items acquired from daily poetics roulettes (main + 50s) and BTs (sylph, kobold and amaljaa).

If you don't mind hunts, those are a really good option.

But really, just chip away at it slowly. No need to rush if you don't want to. If you have a tank levelled, doing daily roulettes as the adventurer in need is a steady way to make decent gil.

Are you doing roulettes as well for your items? The way I make a decent chunk of my Gil is from doing dailies.

Roll on everything. And I mean every piece of loot. Turn them in for GC seals and buy some Cordials or mats that sell well on your server. Maybe buy some ventures and get the sweet random junk or treasure from you retainer. If you have a battle class retainer try getting some Dragon Skins or Chimera Manes, unless they sell for dirt on your server ofc.

Thank you for the reply. The first part honestly doesnt bother me all that much, it is mainly the crafting items. Currently they are selling around 300k each on my server (give or take.) I barely have 100k atm. XD I will figure something out I am sure

300k for one item?! So 1.4mil per set of 4?! or 300k for 4?? If the former that is incredibly expensive... or maybe Tonberry is just cheap... :O

If you only have 1500 gil you are doing something very wrong, lol. From roulette bonuses alone you can make like 50k a day at least.

Well, of course, the NQ ones are useless. I still find that to be a lot, on Tonberry the HQ ones are 80-90k each, so the cost for all 16 items ran me to 1.2mil...different economy I suppose :O

Yeah I've made about 300-400k in the past two days just from trading in dungeon gear for gc seals and buying then selling mats with it.

Hey, you never know you might even get lucky and get a dungeon minion to drop and those can bring in a hefty sum of gil real quick.

But man...I feel sorry for you. 300k for one item? That's absolutely ridiculous.
They are about 70-80k on my server and even that seems too high.

tonberry is pricy for items come to masa can get a set of 4 hq items for under 400k.
