Sephirot has a theme that for some reason reminded me of the midi-battle themes of old

Well, it is a remix of one of the themes from Final Fantasy VI. The first half at least, no idea what Soken has cooked up for the second half.

I just wanted to say that you will probably get this. They like to reuse music when they reuse old bosses. Like Battle on the Big Bridge, and they had Fierce Battle play during the trailer for the Sephirot fight. Also, Terra's theme on the garlean mounts. And Matoya's cave. There's lots of precedents for it. It will totally happen.

When it comes to the order it is going to be really hard to guess, there is so much apparently being covered in the 3.2 MSQs.

We have Minfilia in some way,
we have Sephirot,
we have Raubahn,
we have The Dragonsong war story,
we ave the Antitower,
and who knows what else I may ahve missed or they have not shown.

After the length of the 3.1 MSQ it leaves me wondering on how they intend to fit all of that into 3.2.
Either it will be MUCH longer than 3.1 was, or there will be a LOT of things crammed into a short amount of time.

Well, it was quite some time, since we had a story update, so hopefully there's a lot of it (mostly teleporting i guess)

That would mean that Antitower and meeting with Hydaelyn would come before Sephrot in the MSQ

might also explain why Hydaelyn says "Blessed children, Go forth and seek"

I'm not 100% but my impression was that the extreme mode was not locked behind MSQ, but the normal mode fight is part of it.

Well, since other posters have verified that the woman's voice in the Sephrot opening cut scene is Krile this makes it more likely

There's not really anything "verified" though. Some think it sounds like Krile, a few think it sounds like alisaie, and others yet think it sounds like Minfilia. Personally, I think it sounded more like Krile, but my fiance swears up and down it's Minfilia
