Eh, this is where you lost me. I get it, you've gotten a slew of the entitled brats and you don't feel like putting up with their crap. But it is DF and you kinda signed up to play with those random buttfaces. So if you refuse to play your job and get yourself locked out deliberately, you're gonna get kicked.

Might be better just not to queue into the DF until your patience recovers.

I'm not surprised or indignant at being kicked, it's to be expected. My annoyance is at their behaviour rather than the end result.

Though it wasn't so much refusal as neither of them were letting me do my job - tank wouldn't let me protect/ SS/ even let my MP recharge between fights, and the healers left me pretty much for dead. Why bother supporting party members who don't support me?

Yeah, I don't see how greeting douchy behavior with douchiness is going to help matters any. I'd recommend queuing with a reliable tank. I personally love queueing with my FC healers. Not only do we trust each other to do our jobs but one of them is full of sass and that always makes a run more fun.

For Void Ark, you have to know from a healers perspective it can be a real pain in the ass. Especially wiping at Cuchulainn if the party is all over the map, it can make you give up. I've had dps die across the arena and I try to raise them and oops, can't because they were out of range. If your healers were "screeching" about markers, maybe they...wanted...you...to...stay...near...them...? If you want to get something you gotta give something.

Sorry, even if it's "douchey", I'm not going to have consideration for others who have none for me.

And I'm a WHM with a full VA set, I know what healing it is like.

I... was... a... NIN...? I was at the back of Cuchu with the MNK. They were healers standing more or less in front of him. Who should be moving?

I wasn't even on the other side of the arena - it was us melee behind boss, casters to the right of us at his side, and healers... over by his front. Literally moving three feet over to the casters would have solved their problem and kept everyone within range.

Because when you queue into DF you sign up to play with randoms, and presumably there are randoms that won't give two flips about what you need to do your job properly.

Maybe if you had asked verbally for MP or Heals instead of locking yourself out of instances ambiguously, you would have gotten what you wanted and not been kicked and cleared the instance.

It's perfectly fine to be indignant at the bads, but if you can't play with them you should avoid them until you can tolerate it otherwise you're just sinking to their level.

We did ask for heals, and AoE heals, and to pay attention, and to move over; they didn't.

You're right, though, there will always be random players who expect 100% from me while giving 10% back. So as far as sinking to their level goes...

Just got done with a Normal Qarn run that gave me a laugh. MNK (me) BLM, SCH, and DRK. Things go well but then right before the 2nd boss the tank starts stopping or just sitting there, so the SCH decides to pull the 3 mobs and we burn em down without any issue and run to the boss door. We wait and turn and see him run to the floating mob so we run back out and kill it. Once we get the stone head and croc he runs over to the door and forces it spawning 3 more mobs. We kill em and the tank went to the 2nd door, without even waiting we run up the stairs cus we all wanted to be done, we take care of the Croc and Stone then comes the Tank running with all 3. We kill them and then he runs over the next door and just stands there as we all proceed to move onto the next set and burn em down with no help at all. So its spoken up if the tank gets the hint and he proceeds to get snarky till he was reminded he could easily be replaced. :3 Was an interesting turn out

Very long day at work. Get home and decide to wind down with a trial roulette. I realize as soon as I load into the instance my tiredness has screwed me. It's The Vault, and I have accidently clicked leveling roulette. I consider dropping, bit I'm healer and don't want to screw the team over.


So away we go. PLD with the big pulls, thats fine, I like it that way. He pulls both of the last groups before the first boss, haven't seen that yet, but cool, I'm down. I almost screw it up because I forget I don't have Tetra and have to use my Bene to save it.

After 1st boss, he doesn't wait for SS, he picks up all the mobs to the doors, including the giants, slooowly. So I can't heal him on the way, and he has about 25% when he stops. Ok, we can do this! He just has to pop HG while I top him up since Bene is on CD still.

Obv, no HG or any other CD for that matter...

Bitchy tank in Qarn

If he was going after the floating ghosts he was probably doing the second GC hunt log. Would have been a lot easier for him to just say so, obviously. Like, who is seriously going to argue with a tank saying they'll be pulling a couple of mobs more than usual through an entire dungeon?

Happened earlier, I was leveling DRK for fun and ended up at Brayflox in the roulette. Everything went fine until after the third boss (Hellbender), I noticed healer completely OOM and I asked the bard if he could play Mage Ballad while we're on the way to the next mob.

Healer told me it's fine but the bard isn't, his Electronic Dingdongs had a power surge I think it broke him entirely that he started insulting me. Stuff he said/did:
- Told me he don't take orders from strangers
- Told me to say "please"
- Told me I failed MP Management because I used Blood Weapon. lolwut
- Used Mage Ballad when the healer's MP already full for a couple minutes during battle, saying something like "give me reason i shouldn't use it now?" and intentionally lower his own DPS (and intelligence)

- Adding fuel to the fire when we wiped (yeah we did), saying I can't dodge the aoes when the healer was too far from me when I moved Aiatar. I would defend myself by saying I'm having lag spikes (This is true, has been around quite awhile since 3.1) but decided not to because knowing the internet, people like this would lower their intelligence further to insult me again.

The healer then DC, I'm not sure if that was actual DC or s/he couldn't stand the bard (I couldn't either). Fortunately we didn't have to wait too long, he called his FC healer to fix his ego. After the fight, I just leave because I know I won't get any thanks or comm. Becauseiamjustanotherstrangertohim /sarcasm

Welp, just another one of those runs that I had full patience with. If I don't I would have taken out an Electronic Scissors to cut his EDD off but it would be a waste of time and a good scissors on a uncontrollably thick one.

Just had a fun run in Castrum.
Half the people new, cool cool
We go off.....and I die cause apparently everyone wants to love the WHM today. Immediate wipe. Great fun. That goes on for a few minutes.
After first boss, another wipe in the area with the spotlights. That's when one of the tank drops.
We keep going, it's a bit slow but whatever. We're making progress so I don't care. At the very last boss, after Livia's health is about halfway, a new tank joins. Bout time, took about an hour for one to join!
All in all a fun run. Long? Sure. Whatever though we got through it.

DPS mutiny at Hentai boss of VA after this raid clawed into each other since the flying manatee.

face pulls and blm pulls and agro fights
and then aparantly 90% lf the dps refused to, dps

when you wipe due to 6/7 stacks of the black lung or w/e that damage ticks and the tentacles is still at 33%, and your the only one left standing healing a PLD from a different alliance.

i just dont understand it
