Did the Vault a few days ago and I can tell you late night DF is....weird.

Got a join in progress and everything was fine, we got to the two knights after the first boss and noticed the PLD didn't try and stun either black nebula. I kindly suggested that he could stun it to make the healers job easier (since our HP went to around 1k after both went off) I was immediately met with frothing anger from the ninja who I now assume was the PLDs friend.

I'll give a run down of what I had spat at me in chat, I was pretentious because I had more than one 60 and what I was doing was directly against the ffxiv ToS.... Er yes, she insisted that giving in asked for advice was directly against the ToS and she stated she had filed tickets against someone recently for the same thing and implied she was about to do the same to me. I going to make it clear the advice was "you can stun black nebula" I did it in the most non aggressive fashion possible and was met with frothing rage.

I left the dungeon after the 2nd boss, I'm never doing late night DF again.

Well just gonna get this out of the way. I've not been playing much lately due to the increasing amount of angry / stupid / bossy players and this incident just furthers my ambition to stop playing.

Great Gubal Library on my tank to try and get it to 60. We have a bard, scholar and ninja with me as Dark Knight. So we go towards the first boss, things are looking good so far. Only issue I could see was that the healer was leaving my HP far too low and dangerously for what I'd prefer but no matter, they were helping DPS, not going to say anything.

We get to the first boss and it goes down without too many problems. So we all carry on. Down the stairs after the first boss I pull the first two enemies, they die and we head t the book on the floor. I then notice the healer pulling mobs for me. Didnt say a word and thought it must be an accident. I start pulling more mobs anyway and notice that my HP is getting dangerously low again.

Second boss time, the ninja doesnt know what to do with the orbs after killing a book. Healer then starts getting angry as this happens everytime. We kill the boss and myself and the bard just comment saying that'd be best if they let us know in the future. We carry on, more mobs are being pulled by the healer probably because I'm going too slow or something.

Final Boss time. Healer then starts explaining the boss mechanics. Ninja says I got it and understands halfway through the explanation. We are all at the door so I'm assuming we are all ready as no one said 'Wait' or 'BRB'. We go in without a problem. Orbs are placed incorrectly by the healer and ninja and then it all kind of falls apart at the end and on the final sets of lights.

The healer then gets stupidly salty. They mention 'it pisses me of a tank that pulls without an ready check , even after see someone doesnt know what to do !' even though the Ninja said he knew what to do. Bard chimes in and says a ready check isnt mandatory which the healer blurts out they weren't ready even though it looked like it was. Bard then says it was their responsibility to tell (going back to the earlier incident with the Ninja). healer then mentions watching a tank guide going on about how tanks should play properly. At this point I was getting annoyed as the healer was at fauly for earlier things.

Mentioned how we're all not adhering to their standards of gameplay which enraged the healer more. We all then got a L2P comment and they left. Another healer joined shortly and we finished with no problems.

So to this healer, GG you've just made it so another tank doesn't want to help level others or tank end game publicly any more so well done. *slow clap* Also, how about you get a tank to 60 first and then comment about it hmm?

So yeah, this type of particular people are why I'm playing less and less lately as they are occurring more and more often.

So I queue up as Machinist for Haukke manor, I just started leveling it. Queue pops for in progress Haukke manor 2m. When I zone in healer says "that escalated quickly", then tank says "I guess the Au ra got offended by me calling him cute" "Don't worry Ser you're cute too!" "I have a thing for Au ra guys". From there on, before and after every single pull the Tank would stop to say something flirty and/or sexual, all the way till the end of the dungeon. Sometimes while fighting instead of using abilities he would stop to say something as well. Something about pulling my you know what and emoting pulling my tail.

I'm sure he wanted me to either get mad or flirt back, idk. I just ignored him the whole time, it didn't really bother me especially because that dungeon is super easy. I just thought it was odd, I guess.

I had queu'd(I selected it) for Aurum Vale because I wanted a little challenge before sleeping. I sure did get one. The tank was new to the dungeon and seemingly new to tanking. He pulled the first room is the worst possible ways you can imagine. We wiped there, and it wasn't any different on the next go lol, but I was determined to keep us alive through that mess. This ended up being the only area that we wiped in. On the last boss, it was rough, the DPS has stack management issues, and towards the end I didn't have enough mp for holy AND keeping us up, so I decided keeping us up was more important. I was being beat on by 4 baby-boros, that gave me 9 stacks. I knew I was going to die, I just had to try my hardest to keep everyone else alive until the boss died, and sure enough, me and the boss died at the same time.

The satisfying thing was, as time passed he was getting better and better at tanking. There's a slim chance I'll see him again, but I know what to expect if I see him in a 60 dungeon: Pro tanking lol.

I was on the Vault doing my last dungeon for my PLD relic, the party was me, WHM, DRG and a MCH, all decent geared I believe, whm was level synced, MCH was wearing halonic gear, didnt checked the DRG, everything was good, we reached the last boss we started the fight then the dps check came, I went to sword to help the dps, normally I use DV before the last ball is down, only that we didnt get to kill all, they exploded, K.O the MCH, no biggy I popped HG to give time for a raise, we continue and wiped at 5%(lb never came).
Second try I forgot Shield Oat, the boss ate the healer alive, oops XD
Third try, again dps check, I used FoF, we killed less balls this time and both dps went down, the fight prolonged enought for me to use twice HG and DV, at one point I started to spam clemency and Stone Skin on both of us, at like 0,1% I died, luckily the healer was on the ball and swift rised me, before he died too and for the last tick of goring blade too bring him down it, it was hilarious

I was the MT on my castrum run today. Would have been fine, but I was on DRG.

Not me but a friend of mine running The Navel Story Mode for the first time. I would have been tanking it for her, but I was physically at her house and like a derp I had left my laptop at home. She was playing Bard and (per her request) I was giving her a play-by-play of the mechanics.

The first thing I should mention is that it took the better part of an hour for her Queue to pop. She queues in with a MNK WHM and WAR. They pull; the healer falls off the platform. They pull again; the MNK gets gaol'd and they don't clear the heart phase in time. They pull the third time, they clear the heart but then, unbelievably, my friend's controller died causing her to leap off the platform. The DPS is not sufficient to clear before the healer tumbles and they wipe again.

I'm in the middle of telling her IRL that this is normal and Titan is like the HELLO, TIME TO GET REAL, boss. At that point the WAR is like, vote abandon. And the screen pops up. My friend's all like, HECK NO, I queued into this for a long time and we're obviously making progress here. The warrior is like Kick me. And my friend types, nope and the MNK is like, you can leave anytime lmao. Nope, the warrior sits down on the edge of the arena and refuses to pull. "No future for this party". My friend was in the middle of explaining about her long queue time and let's just run it again, who cares? But then she gets dismissed from the party.

I was FURIOUS on her behalf, but she just pulled some raiders from her FC into an unsynched undersized Navel because of her sob story and they DESTROYED Titan epically (and hilariously), one of the two decided that one was sufficient and then took up base jumping for the lolz.

TL;DR - Tank decided that the party is worthless arbitrarily and therefore refuses to pull until they get a kick because entitlement.

Before this week, I think there's been one instance where I've been kicked from a party. Now I've been kicked twice in the past two days. I don't know if it's bad luck or my attitude/ tolerance towards idiots in DF is getting worse. Probably the latter.

First was SMA, had yet another silent tank who started speed running/ pulling big without even asking anyone. That in itself wasn't the issue, I'm used to those sort of pulls by now, but then he goes charging ahead without waiting for party members/ MP/ buffs as soon as the mobs were down - most of my MP was blown on the first pull - and runs straight into the first boss while me and another DPS are a chunk of the map away. I deliberately walk over, miss the 15 second lockout, watch as they wipe, and assume he'll take the hint. Nope! Soon as the first boss is down, off he goes again before we've barely opened the chest, pulling half way up to the honeycomb, no buffs. I walk again, he drops, I get a "U suck." I snark back that if he's not going to let me do my job properly, then I won't bother. Few seconds later: "you've been dismissed!"

Second was VA (NIN), joined in progress at Cuchu (that really should have been a red flag.) Got paired with the most clueless and useless ASTs I've ever seen; they stood there motionless most of the time, let the party drop to 20 - 30% without healing and when they finally did, were oblivious to the fact they had AoE heals. One was screeching about "markers" instead of actually moving near DPS, the other was... drooling or something, I don't know. Me and another DPS pointed out they were, well, terrible, and arguments ensued. They said "we're not going to heal you "; fine by me, less work to do if I'm faceplanting. Locked myself out of Echidna; unsurprisingly everyone wipes, I'm still sat there, et voila, kick.

Usually I don't like slacking off and do my job as best as I can regardless of what petty squabbles there are, but I've really had enough of rude/ stupid players lately. I'm not wasting any more effort helping people who aren't only rubbish at their job, but snotty to boot.

Eh, this is where you lost me. I get it, you've gotten a slew of the entitled brats and you don't feel like putting up with their crap. But it is DF and you kinda signed up to play with those random buttfaces. So if you refuse to play your job and get yourself locked out deliberately, you're gonna get kicked.

Might be better just not to queue into the DF until your patience recovers.

Yeah, I don't see how greeting douchy behavior with douchiness is going to help matters any. I'd recommend queuing with a reliable tank. I personally love queueing with my FC healers. Not only do we trust each other to do our jobs but one of them is full of sass and that always makes a run more fun.

For Void Ark, you have to know from a healers perspective it can be a real pain in the ass. Especially wiping at Cuchulainn if the party is all over the map, it can make you give up. I've had dps die across the arena and I try to raise them and oops, can't because they were out of range. If your healers were "screeching" about markers, maybe they...wanted...you...to...stay...near...them...? If you want to get something you gotta give something.
