We actually got 3 abilities tied to parrying, one of them defensive, two of them are procs. You can't make a tank focused on parry any more than that, not in this game, considering how parry works. On the other hand, PLD has a proc based on its shield, not parry, which is definitely not the same.

Other than that, DRK's signature ability is to consume HP to hit harder, so yeah, no.
