She never actually died though. It wasn't even really suggested. I'd feel quite the opposite if she just turned up dead because it would seem like such a lame way to remove a character from the story. If your going to take a important character out of the story at least do better than she thought of something and ran off alone into a dark tunnel (which had been collapsed behind us by that point to stop pursuit).

That said I do hope she is more proactive in her new role. Life as a manager didn't really sell her well. In the end though I don't think you will see her become a fighter. She relies of the Warrior of Light as she does because while she has the echo, she lacks the sklllset and possibly the talent to go physically toe to toe with a primal. Hey at least she did the paperwork. That would be a really boring MSQ quest. Read through a 40 page report on crystal shipments and look for any irregularities.
