Hopefully this'll encourage more people to play PLD, pretty excited to see what they'll fix.

I still do when we need a tank over my DPS. I just group tired of people telling me to wear STR accessories even if we're just doing a Dungeon, or in a Thordan Ex learning party.

I really hope they keep pld as the low attack power high defense tank, BUT give it some way to contribute to overall raid dps like trick attack does to balance things out.



There are two types of people playing Paladin right now. People like me who are good enough that they're still better than the average df tank and don't give a shit because we like the aesthetic and playstyle, or people who are completely awful and don't know asses from elbows about their class anyway. These are usually the full vit tanks that insist on MTing.

I'm full VIT and prefer to MT since I lack OT knowledge (ie Thordan Ex). Plus it's a mental thing which is why I prefer to MT (coming from FFXI and DC Universe where there would normally only be one tank in 95% of the content). Some folks who know me know I'm not awful (besides those who WOULD say I'm awful simply because I don't wear STR accessories).

Honest I see more WAR's and DRK's around than plds these days, I didn't know they were the most populated
Maybe they're all hiding from me lol

On Malboro, we're full of experienced WARs and DRKs while most newer players are on PLD.

My predictions: WAR and DRK dmg nerfed to the floor. For PLD slight dmg bump depending on how bad other two we're nerfed, adjustments to divine veil, clemency and other utility skills.

Out of far left field: Tp regen gets worked into and existing ability (e.g. bulwark)

With all the strict dps requirements, it was required due to the dps meta.

Those are supposedly being let up on as well, but we'll have to wait and see.

All in all I'm pretty stoked for the patch. :3
