if im not wrong, in FFV(the one where krille is from) there was a character that would thought to be dead, then would come back possessed and we would hae to kill it again for real.

As minfilia in 2,55 just, came back and disappeard, i'd say its likely that she is now inside this Antitower, and pretty much has something to do with the isle of val. probably thats the isle of val(?) but in another dimension, the one it disappeard to.

well, in that art, she seems to be binded to hydalein crystal, or atleast to some sort of crystal. Taking in mind Antitower is MSQ it would make total sense that we enter that, following minfilia's trail. and the ''more hair'' could be to simbol the passage of time, OR of her hair not being tied anymore.

Based on the scraps of info we've gotten
1.Antitower was built to observer the mother crystal
2. The artwork for 3.2 Title is that of Minfilia and what appears to be crystal(s)
3. Krile can sense aetheric signatures of people and that power is boosted with the Eye

Anyways I don't like the crystal (Hydaelyn?) is wrapping itself around Minfilia. In fact, she looks like she's being forcibly held

And no, he didn't answer the question. "Recognize their surroundings" is not an answer, not really. Arguably, with the aether sense of non-Garlean races, they, too, can "recognize their surroundings," just in a different way. So it's a very vague answer, and actually less than what we've been theorizing for years (360 degree vision).
