Cheating was a false claim. And while folks believe SE doesn't care. They have those "Reasons" there for a reason.
I assume being dismissed for cheating, harassment enough times will cause GMs to monitor and or warn/punish a player.

actually, for reporting those same events more then once, I received each time the same answer that they do not mix between players squabbles.

no matter what the reason you use SE doesnt care.

but it doesnt make it any less wrong, wrong on SE account to put something in place and not care and wrong from players part knowing that SE doesnt care they care even less.

Hmm... There's likely a disconnect going on here....

Likely, the GM doesn't care about the dispute because on their end Vote Kick Offline, Harassment, Cheating, etc. ultimately don't matter unless a report ticket is submitted as well. So you can kick anyone for any reason but SE won't look at it unless you actually report the player you kicked for cheating, harassment, so on and so forth.

Now, let's change the scenario.

If your BRD had not gone offline and was kicked by Dimissal - Cheating for doing nothing wrong then this is report-able.


How do I know? I once replaced a tank (similar to your BRD) who had been undergeared and someone kicked him at the last boss for being "bad". The healer was arguing with the 2 DPS who claimed he deserved the kick because he did not do mass pulls (his gear level wasn't high enough for it). After getting into it with the 2 dps, they told the healer and myself they literally kicked him for being "too weak". To add insult to injury he was kicked at the last boss as mentioned above without warning.

As a result, the healer and I reported the two DPS (their names, the time it took place, all that fun stuff was required). The GM responded within 10 minutes, spoke to me about the encounter, and told me it was a very big no no to vote dismiss people simply for being new and not being overpowered (duh, it hurts their bottom line with subs). He informed me that if the logs reflect the situation as I said it did (which it did I only quoted their words to him), then they would be getting a suspension.

He let me know all of this because I asked "is this in violation of the rules, to kick someone when they've done no wrong and the kickers admit to that?" to which the GM responded yes. These types of people are not the quickest and usually will incriminate themselves if called on their actions.


TL;DR - It's not that SE doesn't care.... The player who was dismissed was offline so it did not impact him negatively. Had he been online and was kicked for simply being too weak or new then your tank would've been sitting in a GM Jail Cell.

When in doubt report.

Yes he was kicked. Under the reason of: "Cheating"
