May wanna look up what an 'expansion' is. Not supposed to be a whole new game, the leveling story was really good though.

As much as I like ProJared, you shouldn't use an expansion as an excuse to add to a top x games of the year. Now if it was more akin to 'best games of the decade' or something close to that mark, then it would offer more wiggle room. Otherwise, it kinda discredits the whole list. I understand it's his opinion and all that, but it doesn't change the fact that XIV has been out since before 2015.

It's an opinion piece; I don't always agree with Jared or other internet reviewers (or even "official" reviewers). It happens. It's his list; I've seen reviewers cheat lists all the time.
It's not the end of the world, no reason to "lose respect" or think he's nuts. Go watch a different list.

Just the ending and the history wasn't good. But the gameplay was perfect.
