Yes... you get two crystals... which are also what you get if you give her 18 crystals making the Zeta the equivalent of 18 crystals which are also the equivalent of 2. No, you don't get the actual 18 crystals, but your Zeta is the direct analogue for them.

the current relics, will be equally useless, when they add new relics, when lv cap goes up, again. just so everyone is aware![]()
I'm still baffled by the people who completed the Zeta quest but DID NOT go the, what, five minutes to get the title?
It's just like "why" to me.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
Personally, I had my Zeta for awhile and never knew that "The Vital Title" even existed.
HOWEVER....
When the new relic quest was released it was made very very clear that relinquishing your Zeta meant losing it forever. Because of this, I went to get my replica first, to insure that I was able to obtain it. As it turns out, I did not have the option. Once I realized that, I did a little looking around and minutes later noticed the quest I never picked up and completed. I finished the quest, got my replica, and went on to trade in the original.
What I don't understand is all of the people who say the replica is extremely important to them, yet they traded their hard-earned Zeta in without securing a replica first. If it was so important to you, then you shouldn't have accepted the trade-in (complete with a clear "final decision" confirmation) blindly.
Anyway, SE is making the option available, you just have to be patient.
It's an absolutely terrible way to begin the new questline, for one.
I mean think about it, if you trade in your Zeta the Anima weapon questline basically starts with a giant reminder of the final destination for what you're grinding on; Junk. Nevermind the grind, that's probably my biggest gripe with the Anima questline, it basically opened with "You're working on something we'll probably just burn later", killed my motivation right out the gate...
Granted, that's all the developers seem to want Relics to be at this point... A far cry from literally ever other titles legendary weapons... These are just grindy tomestone weapons really... Can't help but think they should have gone the XI route and just had Zodiac and Anima weapons... Got a Zeta? Good, keep upgrading that for the new level cap. Didn't get a Zeta? No problem, we have a new set of weapons you can work on. Wouldn't even be that hard to work such a system into the narrative... I mean, didn't the whole Zeta portion essentially have us trying to grant our weapons consciousness? Glad they actually delivered on that for the Anima weapons, but I can't imagine it would have been hard to open the Anima questline with "Well, we've already done most of this!" and continue working on the Zodiac weapon. I found it fairly jarring going through the first part of the quest looking at Grelot going "Dude, we literally have done this already, we made a weapon with a "soul", how drunk are you right now?", and it was just downright insulting to just take the Zeta and burn it... At least when we did that for our original Relic weapons it was for a significant upgrade, this time? Oh, a crappy i170 Eso weapon? Gee thanks.

you could always buy one from the calamity salvager and do it over again? dunno should have realized there was no zeta replica to buy but no crystals for anima weapon were too importantThere are TONS of people who, spent countless hours, days, months attaining there Zeta weapons who DID NOT, by dumb luck, finish the quest the Vital Title.... Hence making it impossible after we traded in our zeta's to get a replica item for glamour... this is seriously disheartening and I am sure there are many others who share the same feelings...
PLEASE HELP DEVS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
It's been awhile, so I'm not 100% sure. If I remember correctly, the quest marker is red unless your Zeta is actually equipped. I had another relic questline going, so he always had a red marker on his head, anyway. Once I got my Zeta, I didn't see an active quest, so I probably teleported out and then didn't really have a reason to go back.
However, like I said, once it came time to turn in my Zeta for the new questline, I went back and made sure I had the replica option. Since I didn't have it, I searched the area, saw the quest, and finished it.
BIS.BIS.BIS.BIS.BIS.BIS.....srry couldn't contain the troll opportunity. Stupid design choice if you ask me. We should've skipped that last step with our zeta weapons because that's just about how long it took to make our zeta relics in the first place.
