You've really never been Aura Blasted off a high node, huh? You poor, sheltered thing. Aura Blast and Mythril Tempest are super obvious when you're on the recieving end of them, and they're both game-winning effects.FAM comon now how many times have people you've played against said "man, that Aura Blast knocked me off way down, it must be really powerful! That use and that reg are a major reason we lost!"
I feel like that's way down on the list that have been said about scholar.
Feels a little superfluous when the half a dozen warriors already pelted everyone of the cliff though. I'll be honest, I don't think it's that great because the war and pld both get knockbacks and will presumably be the first ones barreling into the enemy team to push them off the node, and both their knockbacks have additional effects, and both of them have a pvp skill to stop them from being pushed off too. I'd take retrogradation over sch's skill, really.
You've never really utilized Retro to it's full potential, huh? You poor, incapable thing. Retrogradation is super obvious when you're on the receiving ending of it, and they're both game-winning effects.
Just because you can't properly time it doesn't mean others still can't, sweetheart.

You'd look like you had a point if you replied to anything I said with anything other than a whiny mad-lib, you know. Retro is not obvious unless your important buff is the one it chooses, and no one - not even Scholar - regularly sheds all other buffs to the point where you can pinpoint it in a sea of enemies. You've never really utilized Retro to it's full potential, huh? Retrogradation's effect is the definition of marginal.

You don't fully realize how marginal Retro is, huh? You poor, incompetent thing. Retrogradation usefulness is so minimal. No one complains about it. It's essentially wither with a mini heal/nuke.You've never really utilized Retro to it's full potential, huh? You poor, incapable thing. It's not the fucking end-all-be-all skill that is AST's trump card.
Get over yourself.
You walk into a group of people and hope it removes something useful. Chances are it'll remove protect, or featherfoot, or something equally as useless.
Enlighten me, o one who got rekt by garuda.

Using MY OWN video to try and make a snipe at me? Lmfao the DESPERATION. If you want to see something funny, maybe you should visit https://xivpvp.com/character/9194610/Ice-PhoenixEnlighten me, o one who got rekt by garuda.
Retrogradation isn't meant to be used running into groups and popping it, you're going to ofc be removing protect, etc. 1) it's good for group wide sleep/bind/heavy, removes them easy. 2) keeping an eye on enemies, when you're not healing you should be giving support with Stella/Disable/Malefics/blizz2 so if you see a SMN just pop AF and have no buffs up? Pop it.
Running into a zerg will either get you killed or spend more time healing yourself getting another party member killed. This whole fight with Retro vs. Aura Blast is stupid, they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SKILLS.

Hardly. I just find it funny that you act like you know everything there is to know about PvP and yet have something like that happen to you. I don't care if people see my profile? I think for queueing solo my win rate is pretty damn decent. I don't claim to be a great player by any means- although I'm willing to learn if people have the logic to back what they're saying.
That makes more sense, then. But as I said I don't really see the skill as being AST's trump card, so to speak.Retrogradation isn't meant to be used running into groups and popping it, you're going to ofc be removing protect, etc. 1) it's good for group wide sleep/bind/heavy, removes them easy. 2) keeping an eye on enemies, when you're not healing you should be giving support with Stella/Disable/Malefics/blizz2 so if you see a SMN just pop AF and have no buffs up? I completely agree with this, though, it is dumb. I just don't care for the circlejerk going on that AST is the king of pvp healers- which is hardly the case. All three healers have their uses in SR. To me, AST is good as a pocket healer/mobility, but you start pressuring multiple party members with dps as opposed to just one and AST will not be able to keep up the heals.
If a party was only going to have a single healer, I'd prefer it be scholar above the other two due to utility that has already been described in previous posts within this thread.
Please get good. You saying this alone lets me know you have no idea what you're doing. And I never implied it was, can you read?
