I'd just like it if the animation priority on skills were either removed altogether, or offGCDs would inflict a GCD sweep on your bar relative to its animation length so I could actually queue a skill more reliably.
Tbh speed is fine but... You cant triger 2 buffs at same time and its really annoying if you want to use 3buffs. you click 1st, click 2nd, and then click 3rd and it skips 2nd sometimes lol.
I wouldn't mind if at least it was more responsive. Its a bitch at times.
The game's fight pace at lvl 60 is still too slow for my likes. I would prefer something a bit faster. Maybe it's just fine as how it is now but it's not what I would like it to be. The overall battle still feels slow.
The down side to faster game play and creeping into the Hack and slash RPG is latency. People with poor internet connection suffer from this. Check a video up on youtube.
But I enjoy the speed of combat as it is, faster doesn't make it better. For me the reason why I like the current speed is I've got to think there will be a 2 sec of me doing nothing until my GCD comes back, have I done the right move? I.E should I have flashed where I Shield Lobed?

Its also the reason why the combat system of 1.0 was scrapped and redone to this one. No cooldown in 1.0 and let me tell ya it wasn't exactly "thrilling"

Anyways, there is a multitude of options that the devs can do to change the pace of the game. They can compact skills back to 1.0 rotations (1-> oCD-> 2, etc.) and this would be perfectly fine since animations fit within the cooldown timers. The other option is that they can allow animation cancelling to be faster so "experienced" players don't have to wait a whole second just to proc another CD for another attack. Or they can even just lower CDs altogether. OR they can get rid of the TP system. I play every class in the game and believe me, even as monk and ninja I find myself sometimes waiting a whole second just for an animation to end or the god killing time of waiting between GCDs.
Also please don't say this game wasn't meant for fast gameplay or whatever, that concept changed when 3.0 introduced a whole new set of skills. If devs wanted to keep the slow and "casual" standard of 1 -> oCD -> 2, then they would not have included additional oCDs in rotations, this makes it clunky and awkward having to mash 2 oCDS at once in order to proc a proper rotation.
I too, am for the speeding up of ground movement but this would make casuals freak out because everything is too fast for their brains. Also I recall yoshi saying that it was to enjoy the map and graphics of the game, which is a decent point.
