Are people going to expect a new race every expansion? Just wondering.

sorry but Fran wasn't cute, she was a woman sexy and quite hot. the point expressed here is totally legit, no woman quite hot and Sexy in FF14.... something more femme fatale. more glamour and sexy than cute and kawai. viera or not that what they must try to accomplish.
Yeah, and that's likely what's going to happen. It's a precedent set by almost every standard MMORPG, WoW does it slightly different in that sometimes they have 2 races but no class, or a class and no race, or a race + class, or a new class that's also technically a new race. But yeah, people are going to be expecting a new race every expansion, and I'm 99% sure Yoshida is planning on doing just that.
I think they are. It is a good way for SE to make money on the game too with all the fantasias people will buy. Viera could actually happen due to the fact there are a lot of people that keep asking for it.
Uh. I think you need glasses. ._.
So slapping weird feet, bunny ears, and a battle thong on a girl suddenly makes her scary? So i demand a wild, hot, aggrassive race where you get scary when the look at you and scream. Like Fran in FF12.
Fran is about the furthest thing from 'scary' that I can think of.
Is this seriously still going on? No. We already have an "ears" race, and it's enough. We don't need bunny people.
We don't need more race diversity, we need more gameplay diversity.
Correction:
YOU, don't need bunny people. OTHERS like me, do need the bunny people!
Can people stop talking in "we"s and start talking in "I"s please?!
FYI, some of us do want this race and if you don't like it, then don't play it.
For you nothing will change. However this doesn't mean that you need to make other peoples wishes flush down the toilet so brutaly...

There's a big difference between need and want. And there's at least a dozen things the game 'needs' to improve and expand on, and this isn't one of them.Correction:

I agree with the first part about needs and wants, but needs of improvements elsewhere can be left to the dev teams. Its their decision to set priorities into what should and can be done, not the players. It'd be nice if people didn't just comment on the threads just to say "This isn't important". -_-
And for those who still consider Viera a just another ears and tail race then maybe we should look at the concept art again:
![]()
Viera have a naturally hightened ankles, making them stand on their toes in a way (or the pad part before it, you know) They also have pretty distinct facial features, though some resemble that of a Roe without the nose. their hands are also bigger along with the fingertips
Now for some other concept art from other games
![]()
They have clear-viewed claws, darkened at the tips resembling those of a monster (or demon) Not sure if they'd add that but maybe shorter ones to fit equipment like tight gloves.
They already have concept art of the kids to wonder Ishgard, or some other region we don't know yet.![]()
Really can't find a reason as to why this race is too similar, its definitely more different than the elves with the skin impediments, succubus horns and tails with removed flesh. Also the hyur with the same skin condition etc. Wished they'd look more like dragons X(

I dont think those are the "kids" but just another version of the conceptart.
