    im actually going to pick gridania for my company i think. i havent done any of the grid company quests yet, just ul'dah ones but it would be nice to take an active step towards depopulating ul'dah and repopulating gridania, its so pretty over there.

    I believe one reason Ul'dah is so crowded is because of the general layout its more open than the other 2 cities and less complicated to navigate. which makes it easier to gather

    as said, the other problem is that the main quests to shovel everyone into the city. hopefully any further quests will have you going to the other 2 cities as well.

    i really dont like having a single gathering location yardi yardi. i mean come on, its a big world, lets all go form parties out at bluefog for a change, cause lets face it, that'd be hilarious!!!

    They are also removing crafting-guild relevance in patch 1.20. This will make the other two cities even less necessary.

    No.

    It's common knowledge that they are removing guild buff requirements from all recipes.

    So come patch 1.20, there's no point going to limsa or grid to craft certain items.

    I don't know many people who do go to those cities just for synthesis support. Since you can only get guild marks from the city that hosts the guild you have to grab leves from their as well. Yet I have a feeling that you already knew this.

    Are you serious? Where did I say you that you said it was harmfull? Why don't you try thinking about it.

    What I was getting at, is that its not a bad thing and unless someone has enough evidence to support it being harmfull, why can we not have a city that is more centralized. As stated before, its not unbalanced, its open and easier to navigate, and it has alot of conveniences.
