Make a system that earns gil/prevents spam.

Make a system where certain words prevent spam, for every spam prevented this way you earn a certain amount of gil depending on how well known the person getting blocked is. You make your own "spam filter" in which case helps the system identify who is spamming or not. After each message, every hour you get paid an amount of gil of spam you helped prevent.

Honestly for making Gil they should have a system where a letter is sent with a certain amount of Gil based on rank in your Grand Company. Either daily or even weekly. Would like that. Would make you feel a part of a organization in Eorzea. Kinda like how in FF8 you got paid for being in SeeD.

What? I normally have trouble understanding the meaning of your posts, but are you suggesting personal custom filters that pay the user every time they are triggered?

I would type the words "fate, rank, hunt, and crystal" as my filter words, then stand in 3.0 zones and watch the money pour in. I'm not sure you thought your idea through all the way.

Also, it registers only from multiple people reporting the same user/words. So more like bots who mass-tell.

Why even put a money component in this? That's an exploit waiting to happen.

Now custom word filters would be wonderful. Spammers come up with new ways of expressing their sales faster than the devs bother keeping up, but I could easily have blocked every spam I received today by filtering "heart symbols", ".com", "handwork", and "best price".

2 gil every spam tell prevented. It isn't a lot especially with a cap.

Everything can be abused though. There are bots who make programs to spam-do the same instance over/over.

And we are better than bots. I don't need to be paid when my custom ad-block filters out a pop-up I don't want to be bothered with on a website. What you are suggesting is literally a system that makes players want more spam.

Custom word filter is a good idea though, I'll give you points for that.
