I've never condoned standing around doing nothing, only that doing the most effective stuff > doing other less effective stuff. The only difference between me and Kaitlan in that regard, is in what we consider to be the most effective stuff. I define "most effective" as being "most likely to lead to a successful run" and she defines "most effective" as being "fastest". Since the game rewards success and does not reward speed, I think mine's a more accurate way of measuring effectiveness.

Could argue then that while you're finishing your run they are already away on and starting another run or roulette, therefor increasing effectiveness.

The game doesnt need to give you any item/tomes for it to reward speed. It automatically does by you finishing before less efficient people and doing other stuff while they are behind still.

In a game with vertical progression, saying that it doesn't reward speed is heresy. You just got it completely wrong. Even the tanks cooldowns, the tp, the mp bars depend on speed. You don't want to run out of any of them. Then how is it not speed? Everything in this game is rewarding speed. There's only a little few content that punish you for being fast.
That doesn't mean you can't choose your pace though.

And there's the crux of your whole problem. You can't stand having to play this game. But you seem not to have noticed that it's a game. You don't have to play it if you don't want to. If the game is that horribly boring to you, then just turn it off. Find another game to play, read a book, or whatever it is that actually makes you happy. You shouldn't be spending your leisure time on anything that makes you want to tear your own eyes out from sheer boredom. And you certainly shouldn't be using the fact that you don't want to be there in the first place as a reason to ruin it for the people who do want to be there.

Now, there are of course other reasons for liking to go fast that are actually valid. As I pointed out earlier, some players enjoy the extra danger and excitement of a fast run, so playing that way delights them. But it clearly doesn't delight you. If there were anything in this game that delighted you, then that's what you'd be doing instead of that dungeon you can't stand.

NOTHING in the game is mandatory. If you don't like something, then simply don't do it. You're doing both yourself and anyone with the misfortune of being grouped with you a horrible disservice by being where you don't belong. Runs should never be geared towards players who who don't even want to be there in the fist place.

If you can honestly tell me there's someone who still enjoys these dungeons after running them over 50 times now, well I'll be genuinely surprised. The things that delight me in this game are glamour, housing (now, anyway), the social aspect, and running content the first time or until I have my glamour set, but this isn't the point but I've noticed you tend to avoid that a lot. I don't just sit on my ass while watching Netflix on my 2nd monitor either, even though I hate the content I try my best, I fail to see how that's doing my party a disservice.
