After BLM and Dragoon what is the easiest class to play ?

This doesn't even make sense. What situational awareness does a bard need that monk doesn't? You need to know where the boss is facing so bard can hit its positionals (oh wait...)? Dodge AoE (because monk auto-dodges AoE, oh wait...)? Move while attacking (not even going to bite this one, you can move 40% of the time because cast is 1.5 seconds and you can use feint if you need to move for more than that). By every definition of the term, bard has less situational awareness tank monk and easily fits the description of easiest class. Also fit the OP question of easier class to play since he considers BLM to be easy.

The OP's question is too vague. There's a big difference between being easy to play and being easy to play well. I would say every class is "easy" at their core, but they start to become various levels of difficult when you play them even with a moderate level of competency.

After playing almost every dps job to 60, I can tell you it's one of the hardest if not the hardest at 60.

Nah, well i main it but still... you just need some practice and get a feeling of when you rather not spend your mana and cast ice3&4 to refresh Enochian (if its on cooldown).
If you're able to keep it up it's pretty much it and as easy as 2.0 BLM


To topic: i only know BLM SMN SCH and MNK on lvl 60, i'd say BLM is easiest.

Dodging AoE and hitting positionals doesn't qualify as situational awareness because you're still not paying attention to anything but yourself and your target. Bards have more, albeit minor, situational awareness to play well since you do need to pay attention to your parties invig, SoS, Aether, and mp/tp bars. A good bard sings when needed.

If you're required to move at all, you have to think fast to figure out what to do next to best salvage your dps. If there's lots of downtime, same thing. If your spells get interrupted, same thing. BLM's rotation stability is highly sensitive to any variance in a fight.

BLM is a job that requires lots of quick thinking at almost all times, it's not guided by muscle memory like most other jobs such as monk. I main'd monk before BLM, once you're used to monk you can pretty much go on autopilot. The only time BLM is easy is when there is no variance and you can sit in one spot the entire fight in optimal circumstances, which is very rare. Otherwise, you're actually having to use your brain at all times. You're having to prioritize and mitigate dps loss by making split second choices due to Enochian's very tight and unforgiving timer, and Fire/Ice stacks not being on very forgiving timers as well.

It's not anywhere close to the hardest at 60, by 50 most players will be in the "zone" mentally when doing rotations and weaving and fire iv bliz, the only time it becomes "hard" and it's due to the nature of both blm and brd now, is that moving and timing your moves between dodging and mechs CAN cut down on your dps, outside of this factor blm is hands down one of the easiest jobs to play with rotation.

Any range job that has to move will face this issue.

Nin is perhaps the easiest imo.

The thing is, if you're pretty much anywhere except at a dummy, you're going to need to make sacrifices and quick decisions as a BLM. Because movement and downtime interrupts your rotation, you cannot rely upon muscle memory for it. It's not as simple as just slide cast timing anymore since even doing that can subtract enough time to mess up fire stacks now and since fire IV and Blizzard IV have longer cast times, and having to do it somewhat often can subtract too much time from Enochian for you to do your proper rotation.

But scholar was noted as having no situational awareness and they have to glance at the HP bars once in a while. Why does bard glancing at TP and MP bars even less often (seeing as there's nothing else you noted) considered situational awareness?

Since when do scholars ever heal? They dps 100% of the time even in progression raiding and everything else is solo healed by a properly managed fairy. Hitting an embrace macro is not situational awareness it's doing the basics.

Anyway, everyone can claim one job is easier than the other. Ultimately, every job has their quirks and some may find those quirks more difficult than others. Whether that's being able to watch health bars while handling mechanics, executing a rotation perfectly while maintaining positionals, executing a rotation while keeping stacks up, thinking quickly to maintain a prioritization system or properly knowing when to use utility (or whatever), each job has something that may be harder for some than others.
