I'd appreciate an option next to the 'Join in progress' checkbox that allows first timers to choose a special version of the run that doesn't let you proceed any further into the dungeon until they have finished watching every cutscene as they arrive to them and tome farmers can get double the reward by deliberately participating in a run that will take longer. That way, everyone knows what they are getting into and veterans still have a good incentive to put up with it.

It doesn't matter how many times I have run it, I always feel bad for people that want to enjoy the story and are just told to watch it at the inn(which is not the same thing). Even though I was slow to progress through the story on my main, my friend and I were extremely lucky to get two consecutive parties that were more than happy to allow us to watch the cutscenes in both instances despite being outnumbered. I am very grateful for that and I wish other people had the same amount of consideration for the modern new player. It's not like first-timers are that common, let alone ones that care enough to watch the cutscenes, and I have never seen anyone say "Sorry, but I really joined this with the hope of getting it done quickly since I have other things to do", just people who were basically like "pfff, screw that."
