I would, I'm kind of for a complete wipe. Due to how many 50's were acured during the exploitative leve quest's went rampant. Either way doesn't matter to me, I think it would be in the best interest for new players due to economy ect. No one can survive in the economy unless your rich. People have easily capped the gil chart and now the route to getting that absurd gil is gone.

Perhaps they should just reset items/gil and levels gained during the leve exploit phase and things would be fine. There is no recovery atm though without doing so. Although people who gained 4+ 50's due to the exploit would probably quit. There is no clear cut way to go about it without hurting there "playing cause its free" and "new players, joining @ release" crowds. Either they keep what they have or lose out on many new subs. (Although, imo, I dont think a lot of the players that play now will play when re-release hits)

You may want to clarify just exactly what you mean by "exploit", and if you meant the fail-leve-and-redo-next-cycle, just gtfo, the system was designed that way. Was it imbalanced? sure, but saying people who played according to the system were exploiting... yea, whatever. also, I grinded my craft and gathering the hard way, you'd have to pry those levels out of my cold, dead fingers.

and no, it wouldn't be in the best interest for the new players, as a wipe will just kill off the game instantly on the spot, leaving the new players with no game to play.

AH yes, it was designed that way, and why is it not the same anymore? Hmmmm? Mind boggling isn't it. Sadly as you say it GTFO, means soon you wouldn't have to worry about them reseting anything. I've seen that passed around like candy and to be truthful. XIV can't afford for anymore people to gtfo. A lot of new players will find something wrong and not be joining. Don't fear though! When there's no one left just you and you're linkshell (just you) on release. Can gtfo~

On topic yes new servers would solve a lot of problems. I would def re-roll to get off these destroyed servers.

faillogic/10, try again. It's not the same because the dev team decided to re-balance the leve system, which is a farcry from your OHNOESEXPLOIT!!!11!! claim. By your logic, every gamer who's ever played a game that has ongoing balance/adjustment throughout its lifetime was exploiting.
