Why do so many people FAIL at dps.

Seriously, what is UP with dps these days. Why are they so lazy, why are they so *bad*? is it cause they use a controller? maybe they think its hello kitty island or Guild wars 2? I don't know!

I can pick up a dps class and fully maximize the dps of that said *class* cause its easy.

I would argue that more healers and tanks fully maximize their class than DPS. I theorize that it stems from 2 reasons:

1. DPS classes are seen as requiring less responsibility initially, and thus attract people who do not want to be responsible for their actions (or just want to take the game lightly and enjoy themselves)
2. There is always at least 1 other DPS present, which allows your DPS failures to be slightly clouded with theirs. Failures could be their fault for all you know, and how can we determine who is carrying who?
2b. Healers and Tanks are often on their own (for leveling up/learning to play) and when they fail, it's very apparent. This requires them to learn and adapt much more often and quickly than a failing DPS.
