I don't think you actually know the meaning of RMT, do you?
If anyone read the ToS, they would realize that there's nothing in the Agreement that prohibits the sale of an estate.

I would like to have GM respond to this thread<3
Notice us GM-senpai!
Do you even know what RMT is? It is the act of buying(or selling) Gil/goods for REAL MONEY, get it, RMT stands for Real Money Trade(or Transaction) Earning enough gil legally in game to buy a house doesn't mean someone used RMT.
well the people who buy many houses on an account then make PF's to sell on plots that were just bought sounds like sellers so my statement RMT still stands. Fact remains people that even pay someone to relinquish their plot and then pay for the plot are kind of silly when you can report the fact their trying to sell a house for more than what they bought it for let alone making the person pay twice.
Violates TOS and people that buy several houses just to sell for more than the house even cost them are no better than the RMT so deserve the same treatment a ban. Cause lets face it where not looking at sometimes buying a thing on the market board that is say 100k less than what it usually sells for when houses seem to sell for millions more than they cost.
It's wrong because you think it's wrong, seems reasonable. I'd like to see the specific passage in the Terms of Agreement that supports your statment.well the people who buy many houses on an account then make PF's to sell on plots that were just bought sounds like sellers so my statement RMT still stands. Just like run selling violates ToS right? Or selling the Platinum bonding bands? Selling a house aftermarket is a violation if you're receiving REAL MONEY for said service. Just because someone bought several houses does not prove RMT, so no, your statement holds no ground. People over charge for stuff all the time. It's called Supply and demand. it's a VERY basic economic principal, and guess what? FFXIV features a free market.well the people who buy many houses on an account then make PF's to sell on plots that were just bought sounds like sellers so my statement RMT still stands. ...Is this listed in the ToS? >_>;.
I've been reading it for the past 30minutes, and I can't find anything about this. Unless it's listed under as RMT...
Maybe I'm just tired. It's 2:25am after all @_@;;
No, it's not listed there, the "references" in the OP are one picture that's been widely proven as faked, and a canned GM response that looks (to me, at least) that it's referencing the selling of a house/land/fc for monetary compensations (which would fall under RMT), which, if OP is telling the truth and they specifically asked about selling for GIL, most support desk inquiries are skimmed over at best and then responded to with the closest pre-written response they can find
GM statement on not allowing housing sales from reddit, looks legit enough.

Unfortunately, this is in response to a player putting up a PF saying that he had "20 houses for sale." He didn't even have 1, so sadly it created a sort of grey area where people aren't sure if it's the act of doing this that was against the rules, or the fact that he was disrupting others with a troll-PF.GM statement on not allowing housing sales from reddit, looks legit enough.
