I was told it's considered inappropriate behavior, and could possibly be under scamming. The point is to get a GM to clarify what exactly, to a T, is against TOS dealing with all aspects of housing.
I agree with you completely. Is SE doesn't take action against these people, it really doesn't matter how many wards they add.. The rich will buy them up to sell and people will go without again.
Whether that action be punishment (if against TOS), or preventative measures, I don't care as long as it stops. Everyone needs a fair chance at housing.
the easy way is forcing 1 house / account.... yeah multiple accounts will be able to buy more houses...but still better than nothing i guess
If it were against the ToS, people would be warned/banned for posting auctions in the party finder. This is merely an fight club-esque, "we don't talk about it". Do I think the devs like it? Nope. But they won't actually do anything unless you attempt to rip someone off. It's no different then people selling carries for their Anima weapon.
Yeah. The timeframe is less than ideal, I'll agree with that. I was actually kind of appalled to open up PF and see people reselling some of the few plots that had opened up. I mean, I like money but I would've felt like an utter asshole doing that.
Yeah, unfortunately, you're probably right. The vultures will most likely live quite a long life to be honest.
This is actually a pretty good idea to be honest. I'd say FC leader can hold the FC house and a personal house. Each account can only have one personal house and the limit of shared plots allowable. You would literally have to spend real money to have multiple accounts for multiple houses. Maybe this would make it more difficult for people to buy housing like they do and flip it?
A GM did reply on these forums before confirming that it is against ToS, I wonder if I can find it ^^
That's a stupid idea. Those of us that legitimately got a house should not be punished because some couldn't. That is ridiculous. Do you walk around a neighborhood and find a house that's nicer than yours and demand they move out cuz you can't have it?
this, however, is a better idea.
This too, is a GOOD idea for housing.
So where exactly in the TOS does this fall under? Just a blanket "it's against the TOS" is kinda of useless until they point where in the TOS does it say so. This is reminding me of Eternal Bonding ring sales where GMs said one thing, CMs said another, and Yoshi then said it was ok.
