FF13 event items to be added to Mogstation

Very well put. I've read many of the other threads about exclusive items, and it's disappointing. So many people feel entitled to all items in game, whether or not they were around for the actual event. And those who want to keep some exclusive items? We're just being selfish, and looking for something to "lord over" the others who were less fortunate. It's completely silly.

So true. Well, it's still good to see that relics are hard to get (you have to actually work for them). That's a rare thing among MMOs these days - most hand you gear on a silver platter. I may never get mine upgraded that far since I don't have the time, but I won't hate those that do - they should be commended for a job well done.

Relics aren't hard to get, though, but are merely a case of doing time-consuming repetitive tasks centered around primarily outdated content. It's supposedly designed for people without the desire to raid, or do any challenging content, yet still want a top weapon; however with the way this game adds gear with a short shelf life the intended target audience will spend more time chasing the carrot (grinding for the weapon) than actually getting any substantial use out of it once acquired.

yeah , i wonder about next step.... farm bismark or ravana x10000 for new "lights" .....yeah u need a 210 thats is going to be upgraded to 220 to keep grinding 4 man and ilvl180 content

Personally I think it's both a good thing and a bad thing, on the one hand, great that people can get the items! If they missed the events for one reason or another (whether they're a new player or a person whose sub ran out temporarily) they can get in on a hairstyle/outfit that they might really like. On the other hand however, it kinda lessens the amount of hard work that people put in to get the items. I have the items on my alt that I have had since 2.0 (I created a new character earlier this year which has since become my main), and have wanted to get the outfit/hairstyle on my new main. I wouldn't have minded doing the FATEs again, but at the same time, if they keep bringing it back it kinda loses its uniqueness. Sure bringing it to the cash shop makes it lose its uniqueness as well, but at least no one has to suffer through those FATEs again! I'm personally happy that I'll be able to have the items on my new main! I just hope it won't cost as much as the Minfilia outfit/hairstyle, but it probably will (although tbh I bought two anyway, one for me and one for my boyfriend's character) maybe offer it at a lower price since it was a special event thing? Who knows haha I'm just glad they're actually doing something about it!!!

I mean they could've just made them available for gil like they were before but honestly w/e it is what it is, if anyone's surprised they're in the cash shop they must have short term memory loss.

They were obtainable via gil? That must have happened on the second round, as I got all mine on the first event with those "Otherworld" items.

So you want them to be like WoW and waste development time making stuff specifically for the cash shop while releasing about 2-3 updates a year that you can blow through in a week unless its gated....Sounds good. The cash shop it going to exist whether there are a million subs or 1k. I would just rather they gave people 1-2 chances to get the items free and then put it in the cash shop....which they have with most stuff there.

As for the unique argument, I don't honestly think there's anyone who cares for the outfit (I've seen one person wear it in the last year that I remember and thought it looked awful), it's the hairstyle. You know why they're bundling the hairstyle and outfit together? So they can charge you for both as they know most people aren't interested in the outfit. I don't believe hairstyles should be unique, nor would I compliment them for it. I don't think it looks too great, and 90% of the people who wear it are half naked Miqo'te/Au Ra.

After Lightning Returns was released on PC and nothing happened, I was sure they would never bring it back in any form. Glad I was wrong.

I googled to see the outfit and hair style. Don't like the former at all but like the latter. I won't, however, pay for an outfit I don't like in order to get a hairstyle I do like, so this is all moot to me. Like the Minfilia deal- I would have loved the skirt, not caring for the rest, but it all being one piece, I didn't get it. It's all kind of disappointing the way these things are being implemented.
