FF13 event items to be added to Mogstation

As the other poster said, why on Earth would want them to use development time to create content exclusive to the cash shop that you're forced to pay for? As for the unique argument, I don't honestly think there's anyone who cares for the outfit (I've seen one person wear it in the last year that I remember and thought it looked awful), it's the hairstyle. You know why they're bundling the hairstyle and outfit together? So they can charge you for both as they know most people aren't interested in the outfit. I don't believe hairstyles should be unique, nor would I compliment them for it. I don't think it looks too great, and 90% of the people who wear it are half naked Miqo'te/Au Ra.

I googled to see the outfit and hair style. Don't like the former at all but like the latter. I won't, however, pay for an outfit I don't like in order to get a hairstyle I do like, so this is all moot to me. Like the Minfilia deal- I would have loved the skirt, not caring for the rest, but it all being one piece, I didn't get it. It's all kind of disappointing the way these things are being implemented.

I"ll be honest, I'm a little dissappoint they aren't adding new weapon designs for NIN, DRK, AST, and MCH. It would have been interesting to see what they come up with.

Ahhh gotcha. I'd prefer it that way, compared to the CS. I'm a bit peeved to be honest. I agree with others on the "So much for being a limited time only".

You might as well throw the legacy stuff up there too while they're at it. I was hoping to having something unique that was no longer attainable. Guess that won't be the case. I'll just hold onto my 12 starlight bardings and hope that they don't one day throw those up on the CS too.

I have nothing against legacy players or their exclusives but sadly, I can see this happening eventually too. I'm not a big fan of the idea of a small "in-crowd" of players being catered to in terms of exclusivity, but legacies were promised their exclusives, so I've always leaned toward all exclusives remaining exclusive. If they'll take away our exclusives it won't be long before new players start begging for what's left and how long before dalamud horn etc. hit the cash shop too? And why make the effort to be subscribed during a special event?

I'm so confident that this is not going to happen while Yoshida is in charge that I'd be willing to make a bet of losing my account over it (of which I've spent over 1.5k hours playing on). It's like when SE implemented the Anima and people claimed that it was a sign of things to come and that all content was going to be as poor as the Anima, two entirely separate things. They never once stated that the Lightning events were exclusive to my knowledge, it was always player assumption and if I were them I would have dropped that idea that they wouldn't come back after the second event, or even the third one if I was a little slow.

Why make the effort to stay subscribed during a special event? Are you honestly telling me that people subscribe just for events even if they've lost interest in the game for the meantime? For the majority I'd say no, the event just happens to be running while they're subscribed. "But why do it then instead of purchasing it from the cash shop later?", I don't know, would you rather do a 20-30 minute event and enjoy the experience for free or pay for it at a later date missing out on the entirety of the event? Seems like a no brainer to me.
