Why should it be better than equipment people obtain from conquering the hardest content in the game?

Zodiac Zeta was better than Bahamut Weapons. Ey Yo. Why? Because you're going through long recycled grinding for a "Powerful Weapon". Why shouldn't it be? But then again, hey, we can settle for weapons that aren't unique in any way. Can keep it super care bear. Raid Weapon or Grind Weapon. They'll do the same thing basically. Whoop.

Not really.
Maybe gameplay wise. But lore wise it changed the owner and the new owner gave you the crystals.

It's not a lore issue. It's a game play issue.
