I can only have one Grand Company on 1.19?

I posted about topic you're bringing up in the past, so here it is again for your reference!

Given that, Burn them or don't burn them up to you, but we wont be able to use them after you fully join one company 'for the time being'.

I understand that part of it, and it makes sense; however, nothing really was ever said whether or not there'd be a final introductory quest or speech or whatnot that locks you in for good. It seems like they'd still give players the option to tour each city and see the different starter cutscenes/quests before settling on one. I can't really see people just showing up to the counter, and bam, too bad you're stuck!

This would also give players the ability to burn their seals before not seeing them again for an indeterminate amount of time.

Hah, well they currently ask you if you want to join when going to the recruit stage, I'm pretty sure you will be asked when going beyond that. And I am hoping they will stress that the change is irreversible too.

Think with me for a second:
After Patch 1.19 you won't be able to purchase anything from other GC's and you'll be able to repeat quests that will give you Seals for your GC of choice.
So basically, when they do bring back the possibility to join another GC in parallel, you'll probably be able to get Seals from repeatable quests.
The best choice is to burn them for now and if you need more seals in the future, you can just earn them from repeatable quests.

But if you chose not to burn them, you will still have the amount you left off with as pointed out by sir Bayohne. So, burn them or don't burn them .
