I use a handful of my skills, mostly the defensive ones. Skewer to chase them down, fetter ward, and the other to cure bind effects and the heal...never run out of TP..
I think my biggest struggle is finding out who to attack.

An overwhelming majority of the time as a melee in PvP, the answer to that is "anyone you can hit." Don't reach too hard for targets. Play using gureilla tactics. Go in, go ham on someone, get out. It's okay if you don't kill them so long as you don't die, so don't be afraid to retreat when needed. Make players who extend too far into your allies and away from their own your primary targets. Stun them, burst them, watch most of your allies follow suit. Give healers a bad day and harass them until they cry (just not your healers - running into a group of 10 enemies alone is the wrong form of healer harassment).
Honestly, don't think too hard about it. Just roll with it, as far as who to target. Know when to go in and when to get out. Aside from that, just make sure you're always hitting SOMETHING if you can, even if it's seemingly useless.
- David DunningIf you're incompetent, you can’t know you’re incompetent. The skills you need to produce a right answer are exactly the skills you need to recognize what a right answer is.
