

I agree. Even more would end up having to be done if they make gear in general, have more flavor. This is the way SE decided to make the game. I suppose its fine for some.If they added unique stats to the Anima weapons they would have add unique stats to every other 210 weapon as well.
The reward of the Anima weapon is that fact that is an infinitely easier way to get a ilvl210 weapon vs the one other method of getting a 210 weapon.
Y'know, that one other method. The whole clear Alexander Savage one. I think 800 Alexander clears is better than the 800 wipes you'll have to A4S alone.



I'd say just get up to the third stage for your weapon and wait for 3.2. I bet the devs will ease the process for us. I'm in no rush to 60 to get these new weapons. I already knew that the process would be total hell.


Then they'd be mandatory for raiders. No ty.
PF is mainly busy for the 1st 2, easy to do stages, after that people stop at 200. and ultimately, they only keep doing it because it's just something to do. Since when you're weekly capped. there isn't much else. I would love unique stats on them. and for jobs like blm and mch they seem to be worse.
Forget stats... what about something like...

Would not mind something enhancing provoke or even flash, even halone combo, etc.

People who are level 60 are also the minority in this game, if you want to be technical. Should they not cater to level 60 players either?
This is a progression, end game MMO. So yes. Not cater, but make it more oriental, more depth. Not something so simplistic and dull, recycled. Repeating Relic 2.0 all over again is just a bore... Only thing change is the animation effects and look... States are generic, no buff, no enhancement... this is all just stats. This game has no creativity for gear and weapon, it's so generic.

Because it can be done better than that. I'd imagine more along the lines of "Holy +3 Yalms", "Cover+" (granting an Additional Effect to Cover, such as a Wildfire-esque damage effect or buff sharing with another player), "+1 Grease Lightning gain", and so on. Don't even need to rework damage formulas to make some more interesting dynamics.I really don't see the issue with it . It's a weapon, it kills things. Would the game really be much more exciting instead of getting +50 crit you get "5% chance for X skill to hit 10% harder" .. Do you want them to work on content or dumb stuff like this? I'd prefer content over reworking all the damage dealing algorithms, which they prob will never do anyways.
