    I think you're all in denial. Those would be some pretty damn small arrows if that's the case. Also why use some complex mechanism like that when you can just us a quiver? I mean real world aside, in a game it really doesn't matter or do much for you. Archers have no problem grabbing a new arrow quite quickly.

    Also to that end, why have it in the shape of a harp? I mean if it's not a harp then SE is trying really hard to troll everyone. Archer was the only class in the list without an obvious job and Bard was the only job in the list without an obvious class. Put 2 and 2 together.

    its not a harp, you can see that it is attached to the rest of the bow in the pic, hell I dont even have to blow up the image to see that -.-

    Yeah, and if you actually looked closely you'd see that it has the ability to fold down as well. There's a clear hinge-type mechanism in there.

    I don't have to look so hard, I can clearly see where the bow begins and the cords end. SE has some fantastic concepts and designs for Final Fantasy equipment, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell its a weapon and not a instrument.

    For all you harp people... when the time comes to play music, it's going to be more obvious because now matter we compare the reality that it's a BOW with and ARROW mount like what REAL hunters use, you'll still be too suborn to acknowledge it even if we waved it right up in your grills,lol!

    I'm sure you'll soon be able to sing and play you sad songs in FFxiv when the time comes...

    It's not an arrow mount. I also thought it was at the beginning, but there is now too much evidence against it. It's not the right size, it's confirmed to transform, it's not the right shape to be an arrow mount etc. Trust me, I wish it was an arrow mount. It's not.

    What list? wheres the official post on the forum from the devs themselves. The post was created by a jp player that transcribed it from an online only jp magazine http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/14804 . There's no actual proof that the 7 jobs were ever released officially.

    Then why use a complex mechanism for having a harp on a bow if you could just attatch a rope to the harp and put it around your chest in front of you? That would save several steps and cause something called efficiency, instead of lowering the bow to where you have to reach it, setting the bow to where you have the right balance to even hold the bow in place while you hit the right notes, and then pull it back up.

    Then we come to this;
    Harps keep their sound through the shape of the instrument, hence both sides are closed on an actual harp. 2, a harp has different sizes of string and different lengths. As you can see in the picture, they're all the same size, and they're all the same length.

    I know these things because;

    My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.

    Also, One of my brain-cells outnumbers the amount that you Harp/Bow goers have for thinking of a retarded thought like this.

    If you just so happen to be right, you're wrong, because I am always right.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one here who knows what a harp is.

    I'm actually quite fond of classical music...and Melodic Black Metal...those walk hand in hand, though.

    Also, on a side note, with all the metal that is apparently on the bow, and the fact that it is on the bow, if it was an actual harp it would be out of tune, or not make much quality sound at all. The sound vibrations would carry through the bow and the metal links as it seems to have and distort it to the point ot where it sounds like a flute you get in a happy meal at McDonalds.

    and again, I know these things because;

    My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.

    EDIT: Didn't realize you posted what a harp is lol, I'm more of the "skip the BS and post what I think"

    Ive been playing guitar, violin, piano and what ever i can get my grubby hand on for years now. Maybe they expect the monotone harp to be autotuned?

    ADDED: Strings are still too thick for a lyre though it is more practical than harp in this case
