Crafters get new stuff every major patch as well as glamours.

but none of it is useful out side of glamour, bar food and pots of course. You just want to religate an entire part of the game to just glamour only? I am glad crafters are need for the relic, it's about time it was needed for something other than just looking cool.

I'm guessing the problem he has with it is that it creates a gate for those whom either do not craft or are not in a FC where they would have access to some veteran crafters or do not have that much disposable income to pay for the needed items that will cost a great deal. I think that the crafting portion should have been another way to earn the 80 items one needs.

Why should a legendary weapon, essentially what the relic is, skip on including different parts of the game into the quest line? 3-5 mil is not hard to make in this game, you can literally make that off of a battle class retainer in a week or two.

Well, they could be allowed to craft gear close or equal to the tomestone gear? Instead of just always having to make some little thing needed for something that for the larger part isn't crafting?

But they can't right now. This relic has made crafters useful for the first time this expansion. How about people stop asking for stuff to be handed to them and they can go farm a few million gil .

The alternative being to force them into it to make said items themselves, or making enough to afford the insane costs. Pretty much. It acts as a punishment for those of us that find no enjoyment in crafting. Either we knuckle down and grind through boredom to make said items or we make enough to afford them through the player economy. The FC statement also remains a point as well, but not as one for me. I'm in a FC with a few people that are fairly well off with their crafters, but having to rely on them just makes me feel like crap. Just the other day someone gave me a Thavnarian Bolero and it's been weighing on my conscience ever since... let alone something that will cost several millions.

Also, I would love is raids gave you special crafting patterns that could only be found in raids, just like it is done in wow. So please, try again to offer up something that would be unpalatable because I would greatly enjoy your suggestion!

Crafters did need something, or they would have contiued to cry and whine that they were useless for anything other then for glamour. (other then cul/alc) Fortunatly MOST of the items aren't crafted and its only 20ish, but so long as they stop complaning let them have this one, All of it will reduce in price sooner or later when the massive undercutting takes hold.

Just give it time.

what would I be mad about exactly? check my main, I don't even craft hardcore, I have two at 60. I am just enjoying the rabble rousing around this relic. People are so mad their welfare weapons are actually hard to get this time around.

A player not wanting to craft or gather does not make him/her "lazy and want to be spoon fed their relic like a whiney spoiled brat crying because their mashed carrots are too tough for them." It just means they don't want to craft or gather for whatever reason. You're making a generalized assumption about a specific set of players with only your personal opinion on the matter to support your premise.
