If you just did Alex runs, it amounts to twenty a day over a month (620/30). Consider you can supplement in Hunts, Beast Tribe Dailies and etc. It isn't quite so grueling. The estimate I've heard on reddit and streams is 24 days.

20 runs a day results in at least 3 hours of playtime exclusively for that, give or take an hour depending on your role within the DF queue. Per day. For at least a month. Alone for Alexander.

Even now leveling all my DoW/M/L/H classes sounds for me more motivating than getting a step of my relic done.

Yes, if you only do Alex Normal daily. You won't need nearly that many if you do hunts, dailies and etc.

Then don't do it. This is meant for people who want to grind for the next step 'relic' weapon. If that isn't you, then you can skip the grind.

Some people and myself personally enjoy working towards a goal, whether it becomes pointless or not. We're not "white knighting" anything. People want everything handed to them and to put as little effort in as possible. I am pleased this isn't handed to us on a silver plate.

As someone who completed two zeta's, one as it was released and one after, I'm not going to work on the i200->i210 phase of the anima relic.
It's far beyond what can be considered reasonable.

There's also the problem that these quests are basically replicas with minor tweaks of what we already did for the zeta. There's nothing new or innovative about the anima questline.

And that besides The 18 Atmas grinding. i quit the old relic because of it and the fate grinding. And guess what? They are back! with even 6 more atmas than the last time. Extra Fun!

Yeah SE the whole playerbase hated it and you bring it up again. Well you can keep this relic too ^^ but i will keep my money then.

how many hours did most groups spend practicing A3S and A4S before they can clear those to get the other i210s? take that time and multiply by 8 since Relic quests require no coordination whatsoever.

I completed two zeta relics both before the nerf and will be also completing this. I think it's perfectly fine.

Which still is a major time sink if you plan to stay on being one of the first to upgrade to i200 and in general, no matter how you spin it.
And I really do not plan to do something like that over the course of the holidays to come.

That Relic is no more a alternative weapon for the non-raider community, it just holds as a token of prestige now. For glamour. Bragging rights.
I get the same iLevel in two weeks of Eso capping and additional 90 from the third one.
