Honestly, if anyone thought the new relics were going to be a quick 5 minute fetch quest, you set yourself up for a massive disappointment.

Yea, I would much rather spend 20 hours doing mind-numbing content that's accomplish-able while I'm tabbed catching up on "Arrow". Which is pretty nice at times.

I quit the game over the last Atmas after they had burned away any remaining spark of joy I had left in me.
If these are anything like the original Atmas, I may as well quit today xD

No one said it should be easy =.=
I didn't mind farming light, even when it sometimes took forever; I didn't mind gathering Alex and I only was mildly unhappy with the vast amounts of money I poured into Materia and the other items we needed for other steps of the original relic.
But Atmas? That was just horrible. Because RNG was involved. With any other step (ecxept for the dungeon items ) you had a clear goal, and even if it sometimes felt incredibly slow getting there, every step you made brought you closer to that goal. With Atmas though, I ran a neverending marathon and yet someone kept moving the goalpost, because I never got any step closer to the goal. I'm not up for that kind of thing again x.x
