Sundrop Dance REALLY Needs Reanimated for Females

Personally, I like the fact that the dance is more true to the real one, and that the female version is less energetic. In the end, SE had the choice of doing the same thing once more (dances shared between genders) or giving them something more unique. I like that the game recognizes my character as female in this regard. If the next dance isn't culturally accurate due to complaints, I'll still do it. Nobody is going to agree with every gameplay decision, but calling for a change based on personal tastes won't change anything. It it did, the other half of re fan base would then take up arms.

Oh boy now that a proper explanation has been given, is this where people start whining for video game equal rights?

This is the first thought that came to my mind.

Once again, I'm going to pitch in and add to the "I like it" camp. I play two characters and prefer the soft dance on my female.

I think the male version is fine.

I also think the female version is fine.

I'd prefer if they kept it as it is. It's the first time we've really seen some variety in the emotes in a while, since the original racial /dances. I'd rather if they're gonna take time fixing models, they fix the Female Miqo'te doing the Au Ra sit model. Dear god, the horrible animation on THAT is a real issue that makes one's eyes bleed.

If they're gonna start trading things, then enable people to do eachother's unique racial emotes too - don't just pander to part of the playerbase. Let males use some of the female emotes for ****s and giggles. I'd love to see more flexibility in the emote system.

It's not that big a deal honestly, but I'll throw in my two cents:

It looks bad. Female anyway. It's stiff. Period. Like...No one goes to the Vanu Vanu dance thinking about the female equivalent. No. They look at it from the male side. That's what was requested. Not the softer side of things. It may be a nod to real culture, but having the dance in general is also a nod to real culture. So what's the issue with shifting the animations to be the same?

But I get it. Everyone wants to be a special snowflake. So have at it.

Due to some typo and slight vague-news on what I was trying to say, let me try to be clear.

I personally don't recall seeing that female van, and when I tried to say this I for got a word or two. I stated that I recall, but I meant that I personally have recalled, impaling that I could be wrong. Thanks for correcting it though.

Bring in something irrelevant like male vs female or the petty females have more glamour is petty. And not one person here is saying anything about that.

I was only stating a fact, when this was requested people wanted the male version because it looked fun, no one even mentioned that female animation if I recall correctly. It stands to reason that some of us feel upset that we didn't get our request.

For me personally I just want the dance to look less stiff for females, nothing more.

That's because female Vanu have different body proportions compared to any of the female playable characters.

On another note, just let this "issue" die, honestly. It's some of the most absurd topics I've seen complained about. All this salt and rant over an emote, really? I wouldn't be surprised if people can go any lower.

I haven't even started the Beat tribe quests, but looking at this, I like the female dance. It looks like much more refined and feminine (also a lil cutesy).
