    Ok, so I think I get what I'm missing here. The vanu vanu upper body is huge. Those arms are huge. The female vanu vanu is swinging around these great big meat hooks, so even if it is a mute version, it still looks forceful. It's the difference between swinging a dagger and a broadsword. Even if the motion is the same, the mass involved conveys a different level of power. Obviously it's a restriction due to the monster model, and obviously it was conveyed onto my character in a way I wasn't expecting.

    Anyway. My basic point is just that, after experimenting with the sundance for all of 5 seconds, I was immediately dissatisfied and elected to keep /mdance as my big energetic annoying dance of choice. If someone in the world wants to have a less excited version of a dance for a certain gender, that's fine and dandy, but I won't be using it as my celebratory dance. You can all be haka dancers, I'm a manderville man.

    It's best when you put on some make-up and dress in thavnairian garb. Want bonus points? Do it as Lalafell.

    That's also why the Sundrop Dance looks way better on Femroe than any other female. At least in my opinion. It's hard to be threatening with the body and fists of a skinny teenage girl (Miqo'te, Au Ra, Midlander) or a potato. It would be nice to see it on a Highlander chick though, if anyone has it.

    From the Roe thread, thank you a lot Pomelo:

    I'd say it's fine as it is given that it's a direct reference to a real world cultural dance and that is almost exactly how the female version is performed. Many of the other dance emotes are very 'feminine' when performed by male characters, however, so if you're going to push for unique versions for each gender then it is worth including the other dances in your movement. I'd certainly support you in that case.

    im sry but....... -_-;; it still look god aweful for females no matter the race.... looks like you cemented from the waste up and told top dance.

    The reason for the complaints is ppl ASKED for the vanu vanu dance as they saw it. Which was the male version, if i recall no female vanu was present till this was patched in. They really shoulda just made the male version for both, AND PLEASE the sun drop dance looks next to nothing like tha haka.

    i dance as a hobby, and and when i saw the females stiff movemwent i just /facepalmed. The male dance is more fluid, and easier to watch.

    I've been toying with the thought of trying femroe recently. There is something fun about being freaking huge. I also wouldn't mind getting rid of the tail which they never bother designing gear to work well with anymore. I've still got my two fantasias, and this is tempting.

    And what he said.

    Most of the things in this game, particularly armor, is designed with female characters in mind. The fact there's such outrage over males getting something in their favor for once is amusing in itself.

    @Roegadyn_Bear

    and i can counter that with 90% of video games are made with males in mind.... so what.

    I';m actually pro equality, and npt even complaining on the stance but the fluidess of it which is stiff. Amd everyone asked for the vanu dance as they saw it.

    Stupid question, why is this even a counter argument? What is wrong with everyone sharing the same dance animation like every side dance in the game?

    Why bring up stupid argumenys to back up your equally stupid argument? I just dislike the stiffness of the movement, and prefer both genders get the same dance as that is what we asked for.

    Why do topis like these turn into sementic peices on who has the most stuff males vs females? its stupid..... LIKE REALLY ITS STUPID. I wish these petty chilidish male vs female aestietics would end its a video game who the ef cares, and just fyi I'm pro guys gwtting to ware dresses, male outfits more "manly" looking outfits. but serioudly drop this petty men vs women in game stuff its old and kinda ruins requests.

    You DO realize that things don't need to be designed for one or the other, right? It doesn't have to be a "them vs. us".
