Disclaimer: Included are both "skills that I think are bad" as well as "skills that I'm just too lazy to use". Either way, they're skills that see almost no use by me.

    MNK: Featherfoot, Haymaker, Fists of Earth/Wind, Arm of the Destroyer, One Ilm Punch, Tornado Kick but that's mainly my fault for usually missing the opportunity to use it ;;

DRG: Feint, Keen Flurry, Piercing Talon, Elusive Jump

BRD: Shadowbind, Wide Volley (post-adjustment), Quelling Strikes, The Warden's Paean

NIN: Kiss of the Viper, Shukuchi, Smoke Screen, Shadewalker, Hyoton

BLM: Blizzard I, Thunder I, Surecast, Sleep, Blizzard II, Lethargy, Aetherial Manipulation, Freeze, Apocatastasis

SMN: The entire Ruin family, Virus, Summon II, Sustain, Eye for an Eye, Tri-bind

MCH: Leg Graze, Foot Graze, Suppressive Fire, Grenado Shot, Dismantle, Rend Mind

I'd love for tri-bind to get a potency boost. Even 10 would do. Such a cool animation going to waste.

I used to also just not use this (/lazy) but nowadays my opener tends to immediately rip hate if I don't... which is a good/bad thing.
(Good because it's AWESOME but bad because then I get killed. Oops.)

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

This is your best repositioning skill and maximum styling ability. It is not useless. Especially with a Mouseover Macro.

I've seen my BF save himself from some pretty devastating AS1 crossing laser positions with that.

Aetherial Manipulation is a pain to use on gamepad. Not only you have to scroll all over the party list with the d-pad, you also have to know the exact positioning of everyone so you can choose who you want to teleport to.

I get to cheat and use both Controller and mouse and just hover my cursor over who I want to teleport to and just phase on over like a loser.

As a BLM, I make use of Physick when soloing, and Sleep in PVP or when soloing (mostly in PvP), but Thunder II, Freeze and especially Surecast are not moves I'd use often.

Swiftcast has also fallin a little bit on the wayside, but i still use it in AoE pulls and in a attempt o save Enochian from falling of (an uncommon occurrence)

Raging Strikes might also count despite being used in my 60 opener. If only because the cooldown makes it impractical to use anywhere but the opener and Leylines is similar, thought more due to being an AoE magnet (Never got ARC high enough for Quelling Strikes)

finally there are the utility skills, Apocatastasis and Eye for an Eye (on BLM), I seldom use these skills, I use Aetherial Manipulation more than I use these skills as BLM, the former is due to Not knowing which is magic damage or not (save the bosses at Pharos) the latter I actualy use relatively often...just not as a BLM

I often find that these moves (and others from other jobs) seem to have been designed for the wrong jobs. Surecast gets more use from Healers (when they are forced to paper tank). Swiftcast is much the same and is essentially the "oh sh** button for popping a quick cure or revive on someone who took unexpected dmg ...or a quality of life move for quickly applying Stone Skin II.

They could be useful for a Blm... but I feel like their design would have to fundamentally change for them to be efficiently used by that job. For example, if they were a buff of some kind rather than a single use move (which I'm sure SE would consider to be OP for some arbitrary reason that doesn't make sense), I feel like they'd get more use.

Ok, Shadow Bind became totally unused after it was nerfed for PvP, and Warden's Paean feels like it's too much of a bother to use because it doesn't work well with the current play style for Bards, IMO.
