actualy i think it's well balanced but the PLD suffer to loose some dps in MT because he have to rage of halone and rage of halone is 260 potency. and he can't swap stance without loose like the war, but OT as PLD is nice, you don't have to rage of halone at all and the dps rotation is easy.
I see many war do OT, so i am war and i make my pld friend to OT , one time a pick up ask us , why the war don't OT we should win more dps.
I answer no, i can swap easier than the PLD and keep a lot of dps even if i have to swap defiance to get to migitate some damage, when our pld is dpsing in sword oat.
We win more dps doing this way.
Reach your dps check in group not with your egostical dps
It need to be more balanced ? maybe, i think Rage of the halone potency need to be up a little, it's seem pld still get PT issue, i don't know for the DK but it should be the same
otherwise war is too high ? the only thing i am thinking is : maybe SE din't expect the war to use raw intuition to dps higher.

It was completely expected. You have to choose between burning a CD to deal more damage but by doing so, you sacrifice a defensive option, or you keep the CD and use it to mitigate damage when you're tanking something. The same can be said about Vengeance. This idea of constantly choosing and switching between offensive and defensive options with the same abilities has always been the whole point of WAR. Everytime you Fell Cleave, you choose to not Inner Beast. Everytime you Unchained, you choose to not Inner Beast or Fell Cleave. Everytime you use Equilibrium in Deliverance to recover TP, you choose to not heal yourself. Everytime you Butcher's Block, you choose to not Storm's Path. Everytime you use Raw Intuition to fit an extra Fell Cleave within your Zerk window, you choose to not be able to use this 100% parry chance ability during the next 90sec. That's how WAR has been thought from the beginning and it has been emphasized in 3.0.
No. Every job with a combo system in this game can keep every single of its combo effect up 100% of the time, that's how their rotations work. WAR cannot keep both Eye and Path up WHILE using Butcher's Block. You have to sacrifice one of the two when you use a Butcher's Block. Sacrificing Eye is the biggest loss, so we choose to sacrifice Path, since it only needs to be up at precise moments.
That's right you only make choice with the war, and off course many war, me included choose often to dps more, exept when it's necesarry to get a inner beast and storm path.
and in my burst i don't storm path, inner beast at all
As a PLD, stunning, stance changing or healing means interrupting our combo and losing one of our debuff. Doing our most damaging combo means not gaining our max enmity.
As a DRK, each time you spend Dark Arts on one skill, it means you're not spending it on another.
As a healer, removing a status means delaying a Cure by one GCD, the same if you decide to do some damage.
WAR is not that complex to play.

About the WHM/SCH/AST issue... is it me or did that WHM anyway 90% afk that fight in the vid o.O
I mean I see him rarely heal (with 7 tanks there ain't much to heal and wars selfheals r op) and I also see no dps... could be me I always go full dps in those endless seconds i have nothing to heal if I am comfortable with the fight....
