Well they don't need to compete with any jobs, just add a whole new stats. Either agility heck may be charisma

How do you hit harder with a katana if you have better charisma than the other guy next to you? And agility is generally the same as dexterity. So no, a dps class with semi heavy (drg) armor and str accessories.

So basically raids would have either drg or Sam. But then again, katanas are quite sharp and could be considered piercing right
