Romance side quest

I would like to see a romance side quest that the warrior of light can engage in. I don't really care about the rewards so much as just the experience. Ceremony of eternal bonding isn't really the same thing since it's with a player character and doesn't really tell a story. What do you think?

Well I haven't see it happen so I figured I would ask. Have the developers said they would flat out refuse to do such thing? I can't be the only one whos tired of our characters being asocial mutes with no personality whatsoever. If we could give our character personality through interactions it wouldn't bother me but they rarely let us do this.

I think this was a reference to an NPC in game in which he avoided the name to prevent spoilers.

I was just joking about that with a friend last night. "Wouldn't it be cool if people that didn't have an eternal bond mate could bond an NPC? Maybe a custom one like a retainer?" Them: "Yeah, but SE would probably make you pay for it."

Really, I don't think that this is the game for that XD

If the story isn't meaninfull, the quest will be crap.

If the story is meaninfull, it will require a lot of development resources that should be alocated first in about a thousand more important things.
