There are already people starting a cat (*cough*) fight in this thread over Aymeric and he's not even romanceable.

They'd have to make every NPC who could be romanced bisexual for the sake of fairness...and they'd also have to provide a pretty big selection to accommodate various tastes. If they just do it for the popular NPC's then itrisks screwing over those of us who don't care much for the likes of Aymeric or Y'shtola.

Yeah, it'd be like when Mass Effect kept pushing Liara in my face when I wanted nothing to do with her.

I can't deny I'd be curious if they did romanceable characters, but realisically I'm fine with my own headcanon of my character being close to Haurchefant and never being able to follow up on it (*sob*).

I doubt that it'd ever happen. You only need to look at how creepy and obsessive a lot of players get over NPC's - it would be a massive magnet for drama and abuse.

I already dubbed my retainers as my 8 younger sisters. Now if I could have a Waifu move into my house or inn room, and she can manage another inventory set or auto set my younger sisters to quest and level up, that would be awesome. Or she could inform me on things when I log back on. Hell, I take meeting my parents lol.

I'm playing a video game not a pen and paper RPG here. I pay a subscription for them to make me a story. If this was a sandbox game I would have quit already.
