The new raiding meta is making me want to quit.

It may sound ironic, but as I posted on the tank forum, the push for tank and healer DPS feels like more responsibility being pushed on those already held most responsible for negative outcomes, and the irony is, this is something that could make me more positive about parser use. Outside of the end-game raids, it seems to me that any time a run depends on healer and tank dps it's because the DPS are not pulling their weight, so why allow this meta to put that burden on tanks and healers?

If you ask me its not a problem of tank and healer dps is needed.

But that the vast majority who play a dps role sucks.

If people aren't pushing fights hard enough I really wonder why people are blaming the low dps of tanks and healers when it's the dps's role to push those high numbers.

agree completely. they totaly messed up raiding in this game puting so much more of a burden on healers mostly.
try geting into a static these days as a healer. it is not enough having the kills and the gear as proof, nay its not enough you are farther in progression than the group your are interested in. give us a pov video and your healer parse on top!

A responsibility, mind you, that cannot be handled by dps classes alone in higher settings, so you wouldn't be off the hook anyway for a clear, it'd just be easier to complain afterwards.

Some people tend to die on Knight LB after meteors when you solohealing as whm

I don't get it why people want to do solo heal in a fight, where so much can happen. Especially in the phases after the spear, most mistakes will lead to a wipe if no second heal is available.

If the damage is that bad with 4 DPS players, they should begin to train for it or do content that match their skill level. The DPS checks in this fight are ways easier than faust in A1S.

No, but then I primarily play PLD, WHM and SCH, so it's not like I avoid responsibility. But if your saying that outside end-game rading, my PLD or WHM is the difference between sucess or failure, then the peers aren't doing their jobs right.
