Chocobos out during duty finder queue?

Honestly, people with Rank 10 chocobos are lying.

you level them almost completely via food in the stables and the weekly bonuses from the Challenge Log (which i complete easily doing Beast Tribe Quests).

mine has been 20 since before 2.55

Rank 14 one here. Leveled it mostly while SB'ing for materia for Novus's when that was a thing.

They said quite a while back that although there were some technical difficulties with it, they were working on some fixes to get around that problem. It's been a long time since then, and I'd really hoped it would be fixed by now so we could have our chocobos out while we were waiting for duties to start.

(My own chocobo, Kweh'kweh, is a rank 7 healer bird so far, but most of that has come from stable feeding, since I only occasionally get a good opportunity to call him out to fight with me.)

But honestly I do agree, I can only really have him out when I am doing fate farming on lower level classes now.

Would be nice, but maybe the fix of "you can use a companion with another mount" means the DF queue change is on its way. Rank 20 bird here, and still gets regular use for hunts + maps + leves + fates.

I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that change. Now I can fly with my fat chocobo while having my chocobo companion beside me!

Daily hunts and daily quests make for lots of easy chocobo XP. 15% xp per week for killing 100 mobs, around 1-2% xp PER HOUR for feeding regularly. 20 isn't impossible, it just takes forever.

That said, being unable to queue with chocobo out makes it worthless for a lot of leveling content since anyone serious about leveling is likely to be doing stuff like fates and leves while in queue for a dungeon.

I'd want to chew my fingers off if I mainly leveled through DF, so other than daily roulettes, I'd rather run fates with my bird.. But then again, I'm chugging away via dailies. Only 4 more to go! (And I should hit 60 on one of those tonight)

It took them what 3 years to find out how to make it to where you can ride any mount with the chocobo out? It will be 5 years before the chocobo isn't counted as a party member, just asking them for this will more than likely give them a brain aneurysm
