Would you like to see a Lightning Returns event?

Some of you are acting like there is no down-time when it comes to events, as if there is always an event going on in-game and that we can't squeeze in another "Lightning Returns" event without sacrificing some potentially superior event. Or that we've never had two events running at the same time (we have).

Sure it is and I'm sure the bulk of people posting here wouldn't participate in it. Likely most of the community wouldn't because they have the items which is likely the reason it won't come back for a while. That being said the entire post was asking what we thought of having it back, and like almost every other thread about this subject the bulk of people don't really care to have it back and then a few get offended that people have the audacity to give their opinion on a thread asking specifically about their opinion. No one is "acting" like anything. They are simply responding to a post and giving their opinion.

The truth is it has zero meaningful impact whether it comes back or not.

REALLY!??!?!? THIS THREAD AGAIN!?!??! People, it's not coming back. Stop asking for it in a new thread twice a week. I didn't join until after the event, and I really want the arcanist weapon from it, but I fully accept that it's dead and gone. It came back three or four times already, so it doesn't need to be brought back once more. Enough is enough people, let it die already.....

(I know full well that the players asking for it won't pay any attention to this post and stop asking, but this is getting ridiculous......)

EDIT: Sorry. Had to vent after seeing so many threads asking to bring it back so often. To answer the OP's question, no I would not like to see it return.....

I'D LOVE TO SEE A NEW LIGHTNING EVENT!!! They could just put up the old ones for players that missed them and WANTED to participate in them. Then just put on the new one. I really loved Lightning's new gear in XIII-2 and Lightning Returns and I'd love to see SE put them in for this one after. Also, they should put in all of FFXIII series' main character gear! I'm sure some people would like Vanille and Fang's gear and hairstyles and it would be funny having Sazh's afro with a baby chocobo popping out occasionally! XD Ooh they should also add Chocolina's gear into the event! In fact... SE should make a FFXIII series event where Chocolina makes an appearance and hands out XIII series gear, hairstyles and weapons if you complete quests for her. I really hope this happens now! >U<

Honestly..I don't care much for the older stuff now..I found things I like..now if they remade the event using say snow's armor from FF13-2 and light's armor from 13-3 with new weapons and such too..that would be different who knows might calm down all parties so they can still have the items they got and the new items while the people who were not here for the original get the new stuff.

With as frequently as the question comes up, I think it's safe to suggest it would have a meaningful impact on those who are looking to participate in it. Where as those who don't want to participate in it can simply choose not to. How about that.. a solution where both sides are doing exactly what they want. Having these kinds of options seems preferable to one side trying to exert a particular result over everyone.

FF13 is old news one, bring in more FFXI collabs. Loved the Iroha one, maybe they could add another one or for next time one that gives weapons you can use as skins. Really sad they did do it this time, since iroha uses a lot of weapons; bows, Great katana's, spears and katana's. Wouldn't be hard to think of some other weapons to use for the event.

It most likely won't be coming back becasue they'd have to create new XIII-themed weaponry for ROG, DRK, MCH and AST.

I never want to see Lightning again. What is with the sudden influx of requests on this forum asking that this event return?
